Damaged or missing vane: now what?

When you damage or lose a single vane, how do you replace that vane on the same indexing as the others?

My bitz fletches on the **** vane left orientation and I shoot **** vane up. Is there a secret tip to replacing the missing vane on the same orientation?

When I try it, I always end up with un-even spacing.

Any suggestions?

Assuming you are using an arrow with rotating nocks and not glued on nocks.

Put the arrow in the jig.

Hold the jigs knob so that it can not rotate and while the arrows nock stays stationary in the jigs "V" twist the arrow so that one of the vanes just barely touches the magnets.

Now rotate the jigs knob to fletch the missing vane.

Better yet tear off the others and fletch with feathers :happy0001:.
