Who shoots Browning

I havent heard much about Browning bows on this forum. Who shoots a Browning?

My step dad has a Eclipse SL, I dont think the quality is up to the standards of my CyberTec but it shoots just as fast through the cronograph. Just Louder!

Now I am sure there are some Browning fans out the that will come to the SL's defense. But its not real smooth in my opinion.

I Heard that PSE is making bows for Browning now, can anyone confirm that?

A few weeks ago Len alluded to a new cam system Browning has developed that held promise, but he can't release details until after the show.... I'm looking forward to hearing more about them/it...

I used to shoot Brownings! Had a super excellerator(wood riser) and a Boss Mantis. Liked both bows! Really had no complaints on either browning!

Supposedly, PSE has taken over the production aspect of Browning archery. Browning continues to design the bows but is using PSE's manufacturing facilities to create them.

The new cam from Browning is called the "Zero Cam" and is supposedly similar to the Darton CPS single cam system with some noteable advantages....

...I have been hearing "bits and pieces" about it from Len and a few other folks. From what I hear it was supposed to be initially introduced with the rest of the 2002 lineup but then something happened to push that introduction back farther into the new year.

I would like to see them debut it at the AMO trade show...

...because I still have a place in my heart for Browning...:)...

...former Eclipse SL, Afterburner, Ignitor, Combustion, Backdraft and Nitro80 owner here....<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

Frank, care to elaborate on any suspected advantages it offers over the CPS system? I thought the CPS was the cat's meow, with nothing to improve on?

Am I the only one who thinks the 2002 line brownings are overpriced?

Rangeball,

I haven't even seen the cam yet. Folks are keeping it really &quot;hush hush&quot;. You will probably hear more about it at the same time I do.

Ky,

I haven't looked at the new prices yet...are they that bad?

Dearest comrade from Woodbine, I thought you had it narrowed down to Cybertec and Havoctec.

ralphie this has nothing to do with my new bow. Ive already got a cybertec ordered. I just like to hear peoples opinions. What can I say, ill never be satisfied with one bow...LOL

Brownings new flag bow is the eclipse slx. It sounds like a good bow, but i dont see anything revolutionary about it. $745 seems a little to steep for this bow. What do you think?
