FMJs?

I just purchased a 1/2 dozen FMJs and was wondering if I need any kind of adaptor ring or anything like that for field points and broadheads? I don't have any experience with the hidden insert. Thanks!

Not too sure I understand the problem. There shouldn't be any adapter between the hidden insert and the field point or broadhead. Are you sure the insert is installed?

Thanks guys. I just wasn't sure if I needed to put anything between the points and arrow to protect the end of the shaft.

If you are using a snap open mech style broadhead, I'd reccomend the broadhead adapter ring- the force from the blades opening will ding up an insert or even trash an Axis or other style head where the blades make contact directly with the shaft.

Thanks. I am using RazorTricks.

Certain broadheads, like the G5 Striker, require a ring. But they give them to in the package. Shouldn't need them with field points, Montecs, Muzzys, Rages, etc.
