Bowtech Shooter-Pro38 dual cam?

BTS, What is the string and cable length suppost to be on a Pro38 dual cam and are the cable suppost to cross above or below the slide and which goes in the long slot on the slide? I am fixing to put my 70lb limbs on and want to check the string and cable length also make sure the person who had it before me has the slide on right.

bigcountry25,

The string is 56 1/16" and the cables are 40" ea.

The cables should cross below the cable guard and the cable with the yoke on top should be to the inside. That same cable should be in the long slot of the slide and to the rear (towards the shooter).

FYI, To make that bow a 70 lb bow is should have 73 deflection limbs.

You could have just emailed the Techman on the BowTech web site...;) I' ll bet his reply would have been the same as this one though...;) Have a good one...
