RE: Pearson Archery
I've had it since June or July of last year. It's a sweet shooter, nice and quiet. A little shock and vibration but Limbsavers tame that right down. I consider Limbsavers a MUST. Not a barnburner for speed, but quick enough for me. I'm shooting Beman ICS 340's, 450 grains @ 250 fps. 60 pound draw with 32" draw length.
It's very similar to the McPherson SoloLite in that it's pretty picky about how you grip it. Once you figure out the grip it likes, it's an extremely accurate bow. I took some baby powder and rubbed it into that rubber grip. That took the tackiness off the grip so my hand could slide into the same position each time. Not having a wood grip is the only negative I have to say about this bow, but the rubber grip is a hundred bucks less expensive than their wood grip bows. I figure I'll order a wood grip. Sooner or later. Not many bows have features like dual track idlers, post feed cams and machined aluminum risers for less than $400. Well, I might not oughta say that. I don't know what their prices are like this year. I gave $365 for mine last summer, but you know how bow companies like to jack up their prices around New Years. |
