cam rotation

I was told I could put my cam into rotation to get my bow back to it' s original poundage. What exactly is this and how is it done?

Corey: What type of bow do you shoot? How many pounds did you loose? Does it have the original string?

It' s a 70 lb. Mathews LX and I lost 4 pounds. Nothing major, just wondering what it was and how it' s done.

I' m not sure what cam is on the LX, but look for it here. http://groups.msn.com/ArcheryRepair/...mlocation.msnw
I' d say the string on your new bow stretched and needs a couple twists.

RE: cam rotation

There are suppose to be two holes on Mathews cams that need to line up vertically with the string. Twist your string up until these holes are lined up with your string again.

Well if I had looked at the link above.[:-]

RE: cam rotation

The LX has the HP cam and the cam timing works the same way as the straightlines = the 2 holes line up parrellel to the string like on the chart .
