vane alignment
i just saw a video in which the vanes on the arrows where not aligned but where each about half inch in front of each other
anyone know a reason for this is it just looks will they function as normal ? |

Off set vanes do fly the same, and look kinda weird. I fletched some up just to try. I couldn't see any advantage. The claims were less wind resistance. Check this thread out.

There might be, I just couldn't see what it could be..JMO
I guess if one had the means, say a wind tunnel and did some exstensive testing there might be some advatage for long shots in windy conditions. |

is is a sign of the times ????
there was a time when we would get loads of responses but now only five very sad this was once a place of emence knowledge looks like its all drying up or going elsewhere due to the site problems |

Site problems along with time of year.
I have used them for 3-d open class and imo,there is no benefit to using them that way.I think it is kinda neat but that is it,no advantage whatsoever. |
