Rest for Admiral

Right now i have a drop zone on my bow. I like the rest. I just dont think my pro shop installed correctly. it is really bothering me. in the instructions it say to attach the cord to the downward cable (about 4"-5" on the down cable from the top of the rest). Mine is not even close to that. The rest comes up really late and the sting seems to hang in the way.

Would that affect the preformance of it? I would think because it is so high on the cable it would cause the sting to start pulling later. It would have not as much drirect down force on it.The bad thing is i cant add a new string to fix the locatoin of it. I been thinking of just getting a new rest. I cant make up my mind. I want a good target and hunting rest. The 2 i am thinking of getting is either the whammy or the limb driver. I was hoping to get some feed back to help me make up my mind. I know they are both really good rest. I am just having a lot of trouble picking one.

Put a limbdriver on it and be done with it. Super simple to set up, works flawlessly, i think you'll be happy with one.

so what do u think is the rest performance getting affected by the way it is setup. because i wont have money for a while to upgrade.

I personally would tie it in lower, but due to the way the DZ is made/works (the roller inside) that kind of cord angle may not be viable.
