Fletching not too bad !!

After 4 years of having my arrows fletched at the pro-shop , I tried fletching my own. It really wasn' t that hard at all...........and FUN !!! :D:D:D

Only thing is , on the Bitzenberger jig w/ right helical clamp, how do you adjust the amount of helical. When I adjusted the clamp to get my fletchings flush against the shaft , I don' t really understand how to get more or less helical and keep the fletching flush ?

Nope, not a dumb question. I have the same problem with the helical. I use 2613 shafts most of the time, and can' t actually use the helical clamp at all on my bitz. I have to just use an offset with a straight clamp. If I use a 2317, I can get a helical, but really can' t adjust the degree of helical on it. I have heard others say, that you can put your fletch in the clamp and leave the ends sticking out 1/8 of an inch, so that when you put pressure down on the clamp, the ends make contact first, before the middle. You may want to play around with that.
