Heck,I wish they would come back with the old anodized camo patterns they had several years ago.I loved the vanish camo.[&:]

I believe I had the "vanish" on my Accutec Redline cam, circa 1999. The anodize on my original 98 Striker Redline was very good too..Illusion? Maybe I have them reversed, I couldn't google up any pics of the either umfortunately.

And the original Defiant ..1995. Loved that anodize. Unfortunately those finishes are too expensive and too time consuming for mass production today[:@]

Jeff, I am definitely checking out the Bowtech Air Raid when its available........supposed to have laminated limbs:). I have no idea on the price. Another bow high on my list to check out is the Rytera Alien X if I can find a dealer near me.....I've heard the list price is $699 on the dual cam model.

Yup, I dig the look of that Rytera- very nice machining. My local shop can get them, but for the past sev years he has had horrid luck with Martin bows (sales), and just sent back a bunch of 08's he couldn't move, for credit. I get the feeling he won't be bringing in the Ryteras or high dollar Martins because of that- instead just getting the lower end models for newcomers/the budget conscious. I'm way too out of the loop, and don't have the budget myself to buy on blind faith as I used to. I want to shoot something first.

The AirRaid do look sweet - But sounds like it will be summer before they arrive?

If I ever get the time again to practice like I need to in order to be somewhat accurate with a longbow, you will be the first person I call Russ! As it is, I'm hoping I will be able to make it up to the range at least every other weekend

I know Russ- just saying if I HAD the time, I'd buy another longbow instead of a compound. Much simpler. Much prettier

That said, tonight is the night! (Shall I start singing like Rod Stewart?)

I'm pretty excited, though a bit apprehensive- I've a feeling from the research I've done online that I'm not going to like the draw cycle on all these new fangled hybrid/binary cams from BT,Elite, Hoyt, etc.

we'll see :gulp:
