Martin Altitude

Does anyone here have any experience w/ the Martin Altitude? I' m getting a new bow (for hunting only) and it' s one that I am considering. Pros? Cons?

RE: Martin Altitude

I have two. The first one I bought was a custom sunburst which shot so nice I bought another in camo for hunting. I' ve just started shooting spots, and am using the sunburst for that. I recently shot a 298 45x and the misses were all my fault. It is a suprisingly forgiving and easy to shoot bow, and is more accurate than I can shoot it at this point. The short axle length on this bow just doesn' t seem to matter much. At first I had trouble getting set up so I could touch my nose to the string because of the sharp string angle, but after experimenting a bit, I can with both bows. Martin' s service is supposed to be excellent, but I haven' t need it yet. Both bows are 65# max and I have 28" 75% letoff modules in each, although I may try the 65% letoff module for the target bow. Obviously, I really like this bow. :)
