RE: Rest Preference
ORIGINAL: Mikey S. Nah, shot one for 3 seasons, in any weather you can imagine. ONly issue I had was that the spring is stiff, and it will cause the pull chord to stretch. You just have to keep an eye on it. Reason why I stopped shooting it. ORIGINAL: SeraphHHC Vital bow gears Kaz Away i have heard about spring problems after a year. starts to rust and fail. The old vital bow gear spring and bearings will wear out.Don't know about the Kaz but I did notice how stiff the spring was and that is why I went with the whammy and glad I did. |
RE: Rest Preference
i almost bought a whammy. the only reason i did not is the guys at the pro shop never set one up. so i went with the drop zone which i also heard good stuff about. i still would like to try the whammy. but personally the LD has me sold. as soon as they develop a bracket, i will be getting one.

RE: Rest Preference
i just heard a lot of people say that if u make little adjustments to ur bow (poundage) u have to tune ur whammy back in
|
RE: Rest Preference
That is absloutey NOT true.
Hell,it doesn't even make sense. It attaches to the up cable so any adjustments made to your bow will not have any affect on the rest.;) Atleast you won't have to do any more than you should do with any rest. When poundage is adjusted, tiller must be maintained exactly or it will change the tune of the bow(with any rest) and one should recheck when making such adjustment. |
RE: Rest Preference
i hear ya i wish i would have got it now
