No,I am actually doing the same thing on another thread and have said it is Archers Advantage many times, just kinda slipped my mind.

yeah, $140 a dozen is a little more than I want to spend for a dozen arrows. How are just the plain whitetail series?

dropping it down to 60 lbs, the closest I could get them was about 1" apart at 20 yards.

anyone have any experience in these? I assume the 300 size would be the .300 spine I'm looking for?

I believe ya josh, still just surprised at your findings. How does your general compare?

I honestly feel like the draw is smoother with the 82nd than the general with speed mods. It just builds quick, stays there, has a slight hump at the end, but its more comfortable than the general IMO. and 46 fps faster according to the chrono ;)

Strictly for a combination hunting/3d setup, how would the .300 goldtip ultralight be? For 3d, I can turn it down to 60 lbs, and be well above 5 gpp, and for hunting, I can add a 100 grain brass insert and get my foc way up.

RE: underspined?

The 300 would be great. It is a little stiff at 60#'s and 28" arrow so you could add weight for foc or go to a longer arrow.

RE: underspined?

Would it also be suitable for hunting at 68 lbs with the 100 grain insert? Or perhaps cut it to 29" and just shoot it as is?

RE: underspined?

About the heaviest you would be able to go would be 65#'s.I wouldn't push it that far.About the exact same for a 29" arrow, can't quite handle 68 but 64 would probably be perfect.

RE: underspined?

Will that change any when I add my standard cat whiskers silencers? :D

Not enough to worry about.

I am getting you with the same speed as archer2,is that close?

Hard to make out the exact numbers in his post, but I'm getting between 323 - 325 fps.
