Single or Double caliper release ??

That isn't my goal,it might do it but it actually puts my fingers in the proper shooting position.I actually shoot a long loop to accomidate my anchors.I don't try to squeeze anything out of my setups, other than accuracy.

Notice how my son does it as well.We do it very close to the same, except I let my middle finger float, which gives the appearance in my pic that I am releasing with it.

I might just try one of those short things to see if I can squeeze any more speed out of my 82nd. Of course, if it doesn't feel right, I won't stick with it. I am an x-finger shooter and got used to having something to hold onto. That is why I use the tru-fire hurricane that has the nice big pad for me to grab onto. It's just a mental thing. I have trouble trusting my wrist.

^ If you are looking for speed shoot a handheld and a small loop. You can adjust the little bitty goose all the way in as well. I had it all the way in just experimenting and couldnt even touch the triggerhardlylol!

Making a trigger that touchy can lead to target panick and is really hard to relax into the shot so it really isn't advisable.

Pertaining to speed... the first time i chronoed my 101st it was at 29" of draw. It went 316. I bumped up the draw to 29.5" and shot it, through the exact same chronoe at gandermtn. and it went 318. 1/2" gave me 2fps. Ive heard people say that 1" of draw is about 10fps[>:] I know each bow is different but i dont thinkk that rule of thumbis accurate at all for most. Like I said before, speed is not an issue with me, and i could care less, but i do like to say the changes that certain things do to my bow. In turn, I dont believe that altering your form would be worthy of time for speed BS. Just a thought...

I don't like the hand held for hunting because I have heard of people getting up into the stand and attaching their hand held to the string. When the deer comes by, they accidentally bump it and it falls to the ground. For this reason, I want something on my wrist.
I'll give a try and see how it comes out.

Sorry,I should have known that, must be getting late.
You really should have seen more of a gain.I have noticed on some chronographs that if you don't shoot through in the same place,it makes a difference on how it reads as well.Maybe that played a role in your results.

My loop is as small as it can be and still fit my tru-fire on it.

You couldn't hit mine and make it fall off,no way would I have my trigger set that light, however,I am scared to death to take such an expensive release into the woods to hunt with and actually prefer my wrist release for hunting.
