RE: Pin Spacing..
Here's a method I tried this year and it worked well.
Set your 20yrd pin at 20yrds and back up to 30yrd. Hold your 20 yrd pin on target and shoot a 3 arrow group. Now draw your bow at 30yds; aiming, align your 20yrd pin on target and set the 30yrd pinat the3 arrow point of impact. Shoot one more group using the 30yrd pin at 30yrd and make your micro-adjustment. After sighting in your 30yrd pin, back up to 40yrds and repeat the process using the 30yrd pin. It should save you some time. g/l |
RE: Pin Spacing..
^that really does sound like a good technique. T tagged out last sunday and this week i have been sighting in my 101st with my hunting sight up for hunter class 3d with my target arrows. It was pretty funny actually b/c i can use my 20yd pin at 30yds and be pretty much dead on with the poi that i get at 20yds. i was pretty surpised that i was that close. i stepped back to 40yds using my 20yd pin and only had to aim about 5-7" high to hit wherei wanted.
