Shortest bow ever.

Check out this bow I stumbled across the other day. www.libertyarchery.com It's an interesting concept.

Yeah it was out last year even. I heard its not much of a shooter. Pretty neat idea though

I wish I had that when my dad put me in the single stand last weekend. He didn't clear away enough branches and I couldn't even stand up to shoot.

That bow cannot be very forgiving;).

That's what I was thinking. Because it is so short ATA, it will be a lot easier to torque at the last second and be way off on the shot, which is even more likely yo happen when you have buck fever.

Its been a while ago, but someone did a review on them like three or four years ago and it resurfaced. I think it might have been Matt/PA or one of the Matt's (there are a few). Said it was actually pretty easy to shoot.

Looks like a cool idea.... but man... spendy.

I think it was Rick James that did the review, way back though.

Never thought a bow could be uglier than a Bowtech General, but I was wrong. That is one ugly bow.

Actually, the last bow report I saw on the Liberty, which has been around for several years now, said that it vibrated worse than an out of tune tuning fork.

Anyone remember a bow made by darton a while back called the "stinger" I think? It reminds me of that. Looking back, very short bows have never caught on very well. One day, someone will perfect it though.

Maybe it wasn't called the stinger... But it was held like a sling shot, with a vertical handle, and the bow portion of it was set at a 45 degree angle or so and the sights were mounted on top of it. It was a super short compound style bow, and I think it only found favor with bowfishermen. It was made in the 1990's but I can't find Darton's past catalogs to find the name.

He did and I believe he had good things to say about it considering the Axle to Axle length. I am gonna try one someday here.

My buddy has one and I've shot it. Its a great shooter and comfortable...I didnt have any problem touching arrows at 20 yards....so it cant be that un-forgiving.
