arent blazers supposed to be better at long distance then regular 4 incgers?

No. At longer distances, or any distance for that matter, longer fletchings provide more stability. You can even get 5" fletchings.

With a field point you probably wouldn't notice, but when you put a broadhead on and try to put one through a deer at 40, you might have a small problem. I wouldn't worry about it. Blazers are great. Longer fletchings help out the most if you go out west and need to take a super long shot (80+ yards).

You'll be fine with blazers, assuming you don't have some monster fixed blade. A deer has a 9" vital. After seeing your videos, and I am confident you can hit that. What broadheads are you using?

Besides, you are probably hunting in a wooded area, so wind won't be as big of a factor.
