THE NAME SAYS IT ALL!!NO-PEEP!

RE: no peep
I just installed my NO PEEP the other day and have shot twice with it (about 60 to 80 arrows a trip). At the same time I have also switch from 40 plus years of shooting finger to now using a release. I did both these at once.
It didn' t happen instantly but the second time I was out shooting with the no peep. I shot a couple of nocks off when fine tuning the sight. Not unusual for me ( I don' t always shoot at the same spot on the target except when sighting in )but it proved to me that it works with little trianing ajustment. I like the no peep. |
RE: no peep
Loose the peep. NOpeep!

RE: no peep
Loose the peep. It takes a little to get used to looking around the string but you' ll get over it in a couple days of shooting. The fact that you dont have to look through a peep, even a large one, will help you in low light conditions and it will help you shoot with both eyes open if that is your technique. If you' re using a peep with an alignment tube you' ll gain some FPS by getting rid of the hole contraption.

RE: no peep
I would have to at least attempt to try the no-peep without my peep to give an unbiased answer - but I will say that I like it the way it is now - deadly at 40 yards[:-]. I suppose I will try without the peep one day - as soon as I quit knocking my fletchings off. I know that you are supposed to take the peep off, but if you would look through mine, you would understand my reluctance of taking it off. The peep I have is a basic 1/4" peep drilled out to over 1/2" . You could never shoot consistently with this " overbored" peep unless you have the no-peep.

RE: no peep
Loose the peep. I gained 9fps on my FX.
I have lost shots at three deer in low light conditions because I couldn' t see through my peep. This won' t happen with the No Peep and my peep removed. |
RE: no peep
my son likes his peep (scout mnt. equipment). I shoot with out a peep I look on the right side of my string and a knot touches my nose.
I believe you have the ablity to be more arruacte with a peep. But I can shoot consitantly 3" group at 40 yards and its one less thing to mess with. |
RE: no peep
I tried it both ways, I seem to be 5 points better with both the peep and no peep. But when it' s hunting time I will probably loose the peep.

RE: no peep
NO peep while using the NOpeep. Pun intended.
Seriously, why use the NOpeep with a peep? Defeats the purpose in my opinion. |
