i went hunting a couple weeks ago and sat in the rain for the last half hour. when i got home i took the bow out of my case and wiped it down with a cloth. i left it hanging in my closet since then. finallt got out in the woods sat. morning when i noticed the 2 small bolts in my cams and the bolts in my limb pocketswhere rusty.is this something i should get fixed now or can it wait until the end of the season. any suggestions to prevent this would be greatly appreciated.

A little surface rust is not really a problem, especially after only a single outing. The black oxide coated bolts tend to do that very quickly.

The next time you do some maintainence on your bow or the next time you get it wet, remove the screws and coat the threads with string wax or anti-seize compound. That should keep them from rusting in place. As far as the rust on the bolt heads, you could try and coat the heads with a VERY light coating of machine oil or WD-40.

Do not spray the bolts while they are still attached to the bow, you will get far more lubricant on than you need or want.

They look like they are just the module screws.

I used to just get a black sharpie and re-color them.

Your dealer should have a bunch of those if you want to get new ones.

I replace all mine with SS and darken them with a Sharpie. I had them all Teflon coated on one bow. The other option is to coat them all with some string wax before they rust.
