That's what I did when I ordered my last bow is went to 60# max. I did this before shoulder surgery when I couldn't shoot higher poundage and now even thou I can now shoot higher poundages again,have had such excellent results I seriously doubt I'll EVER go back to 70-80# again. With today's bows,over 60# is not needed for anything short of african game-which I hope to hunt someday.
