New Extreme, what rest???

I just bought a 03 Extreme and the Cleveland Outdoor show yesterday, the price was right $540.00 out the door, I had it change from 80%-65% let-off so P&Y legal (wishful thinking) and my draw lenght 28" no accessaries.
I plan on using the Bow strictly for tree-stand hunting
My 1st question is about a rest:
Is a Drop-Away better or Not?....pros & cons each?
If Drop-Away I' m leaning toward NAP 4000 or Drop-Zone, if not I' m open to sugestions. This is my 1st new Bow in 12 years and want to do it right as I plan on keep it a long time too so upper end is fine.
Thanx guys

I just got a muzzy zero effect rest about a month ago. This will be the first year using a drop away for hunting but I don' t think that you are going to buy better rest. With a big arrow hook it is pretty much impossible for your arrow to fall, unless you try shooting upside down. ha ha. The muzzy is also easy to setup and tune.

Second the Muzzy Zero Effect! Quiet, easier than you think to setup, a breeze to tune. Shoot any helical that you want on any arrow. Great company to work with too.

the trophy taker is a real good rest and not as cheesy looking as the MZE it looks like a giant problem just waiting to happen[:o]

RE: New Extreme, what rest???

I have both of the above mentioned rests. The shakey hunter is a good rest, with decient arrow capture abilities. I have shot it at targets for a few weeks now.

Last year I hunted with the MZE. I don' t have any complaints with that rest. It never broke and never came out of tune. I drug it threw some very thick places too. The arrow was always there when it needed to be. It is a very good hunting rest. I haven' t decided which rest I will hunt with this year as the MZE is on one bow and the Shakey hunter is on another. I am prone to go with the MZE because of the success last year with it. You know if it ain' t broke don' t fix it...:D
