On the right side of the rest (right handed) there is a roll pin holding the thumb lever / cap on below where the string passes through the cap. Push out that roll pin and the thumb lever / cap can be removed. You have to rotate it one way or the other to get it to unlock. This will expose the spring inside. You will see numerous holes for the spring to sit in. Simply place the end of the spring in another hole and reassemble.
If this sounds confusing call QAD and they will email instruction on how to do this. It's pretty easy to do.

I had the same problem with mine. Turned out I was dropping my arm when I was shooting causing contact.

IT WORKED!!!
It took me several minutes to get everything re-seated, but other than that it was an easy fix. I pre-loaded the spring approx 180 degrees and haven't had fletching interference since.
