Torn between 2 arrows( Axis and ICS)
Someone help me out here.. right now im shooting the gold tip 5575's which fly ok, but I want something a little tougher. Im considering the ICS ones or the easton axis. Both with blazers and 29inches in length. 400 in size.. is there any major difference between the 2 other than price? I know axis will run about 1-2bucks more per arrow so is it worth it?
setup is below 29inch draw 65lb draw weight Hoyt Vectrix thanks in advance |

Normally you get what you pay for - but to be honest I don't think you'll gain much additional benefit from the Axis. Beman makes a great product and will probably suit you just fine.

I personally for 3 years have shot beman hunter ics 400 @ 30" with 100 grain. 408-410 grains, consistant arrow to arrow. Love them, no reason to change. Pope an d Young minimum I believe is 400 gr if that matters to you.

still seems 50/50 LOL.. Ill probably end up going with the axis.
im still trying to figure out the ideal length... The guy that had the bow before me gave me his gold tips 5575'sbut those are 32"inches(way to long) Im thinking 29 will be perfect |

guys, i measured my draw with the 32inch arrow on and its 27 right to the rest. Would 28 be to short? Or should I go 28.5 atleast in length

I have never like the axis shafts of previous years. However, the new NANOS are head and shoulders a better shaft than the old version. The ones I have inspected are extremely consistant in weight and straightness which prompted me to switch to them from Carbon Express that I have been using for several years now. I have been extremely happy with the Axis nanos.
