RE: whisker biskit question
You should like it. I have had onefor years.I don't know what vanes you use but you'll need a stiff compound vane for a W.B. The firmer they are the better they will hold up. With softer vanes you will get a rippling then marks on them, then they will start to tear. Happened to me and I switched to 2" blazers. By the way I now shoopt a Hostage rest by Bowtech, it is built on the same style but only has brushes at the 3, 6, 9 o'clock positions for better vane clearance. I like it alot. There are pro W.B. and con W.B. users. If it works for ya then use it.

my cock vane is up too!

RE: whisker biskit question
UP. Your vanes need to pass over and around the black bristles in order to fly correctly.

RE: whisker biskit question
I was thinking up myself. For some reason the arrows were nockedcock vane out. --he was making others for a different rest at the same time so im sure he just did them all the same by mistake.
They are fletched with quickspin vanes----thoughts???????? |
RE: whisker biskit question
I have had on for a long time also...it is the most dependable hunting rest I know of. Ii is a K.I.S.S. cornerstone, because you absolutely never have to worry about your arrow once it is nocked. I shoot feathers and the biskit wears them out, so I have to refletch every year....it is worth it, imo. To the question, I shoot vane out, as you will not have to worry about one of the fletching ever touching the string. With a biskit, cock vane actually doesn"t matter, my hunting arrows last year were fletched all the same color.

RE: whisker biskit question
Some WB's newer ones especially have a darker(black) section of bristles at the bottom, thats your acual rest there, the rest of the others are for containment. So if the bottom of the circle brush is black you go cock up. Are your nocks glued in? Or can they be turned?

RE: whisker biskit question
Quick spinswill KILL your accuracy on a wb.The small notch on the vane will actually come in contact with the wb causing inconsistant flight. I tried some myself and was scratching my head.
