Octane Hostage Pro Rest

I was wondering if anyone out there is shooting this rest? If so how are you liking it?

Ive been shooting it for about a month now and really like it. I havnt really found anything major to complain about. The bristles seem to be holding up good and it is quieter than I thought it would be on the draw.

2 of my bristles look 1/2 wore out at maybe 100 shoots.
dealer told me to call Bowtech and maybe they have a new improved bristle.
My bow was laser tuned so it shouldn't be a alignment issue.
I did however really like the rest and was going to buy another one for my other bow until I saw the wear.

The bristles on mine dont look to be worn much at all and I have about 400 shots thru it. I have heard of this though, and I will be watching mine.

I have been using one for about a month and I am really liking this rest. If your bristles are being worn quickly they are likelyeither too tight on the arrow or your bow isn't tuned just right.

In installing them and tuning to them I am finding out that people that have bows that aren't tuned as well as they should be are wearing out the bristles. Laser tuning is for initial set up only. There is still much work to be done to get that arrow to leave the bow straight.

I have had mine for about a month. So far so good. I haven't noticed any bristle wear yet, but will certainly keep an eye on it. The final test will be this October though. I was shooting a WB before. I wasn't unhappy with the WB, I just wanted to try something different.

I'm loving mine. Easily tuned. Great arrow flight. I have to have my fletch lined up perfect to get clearance but I can't say anything bad about it.

I have one on my bow and so far no issues. Much quieter than the dropaway I had on my bow before.
