Stabilizer Question
 

Ive got a PSE whitetail extreme i purchased from BPS a few years back. Anyway it comes with an all metal stabilizer on it. So I bought a limbsaver s coil 3061 stabilizer. My question is wether to take the original stabilizer off and chuck it or to screw the limbsaver on the end of the original stabilizer. With the two connected it probably sticks out 8 to 10 inches. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried shooting your bow with both configurations? I would try that and then make the decision. If you can't tell a difference with both then I would just stick with the sims. The longer the better but you may not tell a difference and if not; you don't want those extra inches to get in the way.

What exactly is the "3061???" If it's just a basic Limbsaver S-Coil, it really does vary little for stabilization. Now take both stabs, and put the Limbsaver on the end of the other one, and you may get a little stabilization. Stabilization isn't near as much a factor on a parallel limb bow, but for a reflex limbed bow, it's much more or a factor. For a little vibration/noise suppresion, the limbsaver will help, but it's not really much of a stabilizer. I have cheap Eastman Carbon Rob stab with an S-coil on the fore end and it does a nice job on my Reflex Highlander, I just have the Eastman alone on my Trykon, and that's really all it feels like it needs.
