Limbsavers on Parallel limb bows?
Here's a question ya... Are limbsavers ok to add to a parallel limb bow to assist in quieting the bow or do they affect performance in a detrimental way? Or are they unneccessary or inefficient on parallel limb bows?

RE: Limbsavers on Parallel limb bows?
I've never known any bow that performance was hurt in any way by adding limbsavers...

RE: Limbsavers on Parallel limb bows?
Won't hurt anything, I have them on my bowtech. Keep in mind it's been my experience that limb savers don't always make a bow more quiet, but they do effect the amount of hand shock and jump. I would put them on a bow even if I didn't think it needed them because quite simply they work. They soak up vibration and the less vibration the longer your bow will last. And if you were to accidentally dry fire it the limb savers could do just that, save your limbs.

The Limbsavers should absorb vibration from the limbs, and they usually quiet the bow. I still remember the first bow I put them on. It was a Bear Superstrike. I swear all I could hear was my release clicking when I shot. At any rate, parallel limbs really are designed to reduce recoil. They may reduce vibration, but that is not guaranteed. The limb savers should help, and should not hurt the performance in any way.

I have heard of some limbsavers not staying attached to the X-force bows, but they didnt hurt them any! I think an STS would probably have more of an effect then limbsavers, just my opinion though.
