angling the nock ?
 

has anyone ever heard of this ? after many years of bowhunting I never had but my son said someone he as talking to said that it is done but illegal
What benefits could there be to it ?

What exactly to mean by angling the nock? You mean nocking the arrow high in relationship to a true perpendicular nock height on the string? Or indexing your feathers at odd angles? I cannot imagine how it would be illegal... only thing I know of even related to it that is "illegal" is string walking in traditional class bow shoots... but thats target shooting only.

Like the Sling Method.

We have used the sling method, with our regular shotguns and steel shot to kill ducks out to and even over 100 yards on the wing. Its really not even fair... which is why we hardly do it anymore.... more of just an old times there are not forgotten thing. Most older waterfowlers or anyone related to older market hunters probably knows what I'm talking about... kind of a closely guarded secret.

Don't have clue about angling nocks or Sling Method..... I did watch a movie called SlingBlade at a Holiday in Express, Does that count?

nope My son said that it is also known as agnling the nipple ,still no clue
