Bowtech General Question

I was wondering if someone can help me out with the selecting what mod to get with my general speed or smooth and if its worth having the speed mod?

Thx
Wes

RE: Bowtech General Question

I have always shot the speed mods on my Allegiance. The draw cycle does not change significantly. When the weather turns cold and I am spending more time on stand than at the range, I will turn the weight down as appropriate to allow drawing with cold, stiff arms and heavy clothing.

RE: Bowtech General Question

I have the speed mods on my General. I have a short 26.5" draw, so wanted all the speed I could get. There is a small hump to get over just before full draw. But its nothing major in my book. I shot a single cam bow with no hump before this.In fact I've been able to increase the lb's on the General to 67, and draw it w/same effort as my old 60lb bow. So I'm not complaining there. If its a real concern for youon having areal smooth draw I'd run to a Pro Shop, and see if can try one with both cams.

RE: Bowtech General Question

The only noticeable difference I felt when going from smooth to speed was a bump at the end, right before the valley.
