If your sure its only 1 single strand you should be ok. Any more than 1 cut, must replace it. But personally ifdon't have to risk it I wouldn't!! |
RE: String issue
A bow string is an endless loop. If 1 strand is cut then it is no longer a endless loop and will let go.
Always be on the safe side replace it, a string is a lot cheaper than hospital and doctor bills. |
RE: String issue
Even if it would hold fine with one stand being cut, you have to keep in mind that no matter how well made bow strings weaken and have the possibility of getting week spots. From someone who is speaking from experience trust me you dont want a string to break when your shooting it hurts like H*ll. I know I deffinetly wouldnt want it to happen while hunting specialy with a broadhead on the end of my arrow.
