That's what I was looking for. I like solid calculated numbers.
I know there's all kinds of things that can go into archery shooting, wind, rain, cold, heat, sweat.
Used a game tracker while hunting in a swamp once, Bear II 60 lb. bow,2117 alum. shot at a deer for 35 yrds. he was 40 yrds. you could see every limb that string went over. The arc that arrow made was unreal.

Speaking of cedars I used to by wood arrows at Western Auto in my home town for a Quater a piece. 35 lb. fiberglass shot at a lot of rabbits.Back in the day when a kid could take his dog and head down a fence row.

As long as you are accurate your equipment will carry more than enough kinetic energy, momentum or whatever to kill what you are shooting at. There is a reason that 3D shoots do not go over 50 yds. If there was a big yellow circle on the animal then maybe I would takea shot further than that!
