Draw weight
Why does it feel like my Parker BuckHunter XP set at 52# draw weight is harder to pull back then other bows set at 60# or more?

RE: Draw weight
has it been verified at 52#??
different cam designs and bows will feel differntly when drawing...probably what you are expiriencing. |
RE: Draw weight
yes it is at 52#, this is my first bow. I like it but the other bows I looked at last sat. pulled back so nice. Is it because my bow has two cams, and the other bowsonly haveone? I just got it last year, and I dont want to be buying another one allready, is there anything I can do to my bow?

RE: Draw weight
CAM technology has come a long ways. My X-force has very aggressive cams with a steep draw curve to get the speeds they claim. Other designs have a less aggressive curve and makes the bow feel easier. Its still the same weight just different ways to get there.

RE: Draw weight
Not only cam design but draw length, too. Are they all the same "measured" draw length. A longer draw will seem to pull harder because you run out of muscle when you need it most.
