String Replacement
 

Help me out here guys, I am shooting an Ultra2 that is in Perfect tune, My string is fraying pretty badly around the serving, probaly isnt to the point of dangerous pulling the bow back, but is distracting enough to make me feel uncomfortable pulling 70 pounds so I have decided to change the string. My question is, do I tune to a new string or shoot it to the break in point of the string? Did that make sense? :D

My suggestion would be to get yourself a winners choice set up and tune to that and nothing will change after that. They are a little pricey but I feel that they are worth it....

I just did a search on them, sounds good, didnt read one negative comment.
Will my pro shop have any problem installing them? One ad suggested that you send the bow to them to have thier people install the string? Typo? or did I mis read?...any way, thanks, I will be installing a set.

Your pro shopp wont have any trouble installing them.
If I was you I would get the pro shop to order them for you cause they are a tad cheaper from a pro shop thats if the shop passes on the discount;).

You will need to put a twist or two in the string after it has been shot in but after that they will just be fine.

Also you could look at Stone Mountain strings they are a about the same quality as the WCCB strings but dont have the big price tag and are pre stretched as well.

I would have to tell you that Aussie hit the nail on the head. Your pro shop shouldn' t have any trouble at all.
