2002 Hoyt bows and rests?

I have read on other posts, about how certain/all?? rests dont fit the best on the tec risers?? And talk about a "plate" to adapt rests to the Hoyt? I have a 2002 Cybertec on order, and it is my first Hoyt I will have owned. Whats the deal with putting a rest on a tec riser? I am planning on using a Bodoodle Bullet, will that "bolt" on with no trouble? or do I have to "modify" my rest?

My Boddodle ProLite was fitted for my HavocTec. The bracket was too thick pushing the rest into the TEC handle. My pro-shop machined it to fit when I dropped everything off to be installed on my new bow.

It was machined so the hex screw on the right would clear the riser. Otherwise the screw would have been touching the TEC handle.

In this pic you can see how close the rest is. The bullet looks a bit smaller, so it just might fit.

I use the rest made by Golden Key(Platinum premeir and 3-D Rover models)and had to cut the first 2 mounting holes off the rest so they would fit between the grip and rail coming back towards your wrist. They work fine with plenty of room for adjustments.

Bloodtrail, there are two rests that I know of that are Hoyt specific. Meaning there mounting plate is wide like hoyts riser.

Golden Key Platinum Premier (W/Hoyt Plate)

http://www.goldenkeyarchery.com Under Styles you will find the hoyt option.

And the NAP Quick Tune 3000 Rest plate.

http://www.hoytusa.com/products/inde...3360&startat=1

this is made by NAP for hoyt bows, this is the one I chose.

Do the tech riser bows come with a strap to tie the bridge to your forearm to keep your wrist straight?? <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> JK
