Default Mathews cam questions

Typically, how adjustable are draw lengths for a Mathews (Q2) without buying a new cam?

Also, how easy (costly?) is it to change draw length if the bow can' t be adjusted?

On the Q2 (and all their straitline cam bows) the cam is draw length specific. The cams can be had in 1/2 inch increments. You can make small adjustments by twisting string/cable but you will loose performance.

As RobVos said, they come in half inch increments. They really can' t be adjusted too much from the set length. Twisting the cable/string usually gains such little adjustment in length, that it isnt worth it in my experience.

If you just need a little different ' feel' , and not a major length change, you may be able to fix it by twisting or going to a string loop.

As indicated above the cams are draw length specific, no real range of adjustment. Be careful twisting up the string and/or cable that you don' t put the cam out of time.

the above posters are correct. You have to change your cam to change draw length. We sell cams for $75.00 at my shop.
