vanes and wraps?

i just bought some goldtip XT's in advantage camo off ebay and i was wondering what vanes and wraps to get. I was leaning towards blazers because those have worked me in the past. So if you could post pichures of your arrows it would be helpful. by the way i got these arrows for a steal on ebay for a dozen shalfs it was only 49$ with S&H.

RE: vanes and wraps?

As mentioned in another post, I really like the Blazers. There are lots of great wraps out there. Functionally speaking, the white ones are probably best. I have been cutting mine down to 5 1/2 inches with the 2" Blazers - seems more proportional with the shorter fletch. You could also just remove the nock, put some masking tape about 5 1/2" down the shaft; and paint the shaft gloss white with spray paint. The paint sure weighs a lot less than the wraps. Just make sure you prep the shafts first - light sanding and wipe with alcohol or lacquer thinner.

I've been buying wraps on e-bay from a guy called "muzzyhunter" for .99 a dozen, check him out. As far as vanes go I just switched to 3.125" quickspins, again there are deals to be had on e-bay.
