Help me choose please
Please help me decide....I' m torn between 2 new Hoyt bows.
Either the Cybertec, or the Ultratec. I start by explaining what I' m looking for. First, a little longer axel to axel Second, something a little smoother to draw I currently have last years Havoctec. this bow is a definite shooter. It' s tuned, and shoots like a dream. Matter a fact, I bust more nocks now than I ever have. I plan On keeping this bow for my Hunting ventures. Can' t ask for anything else in a short bow. I want something a little longer so I can shoot indoor spots with. My gut tells me to go with the Ultratec, but I can' t overlook the Cybertec. I' m only 5' 6" , so a 40 inch axel to axel bow isn' t quite nessecary vor me, but the ultimate in forgivness is hard to overlook. So guys, help me out here, and throw your opinions in here... |
RE: Help me choose please
A longer ATA bow will be less prone to torque and movement, regardless of how tall you are.I would look at ata and brace height for a spot bow.Speed is not a factor. Also how they feel and shoot to you is most important.

Better shooting bow would be the ultratec. That would be my choice.

CyberHunter, welcome to the board!
I would go with the UltraTec too. They are both great shooting bows, but to me the 7fps you give up in speed is repaid with the bigger brace height. Also, the 2003 UltraTec with xt2000 limbs is only 37" axle to axle. Good Luck! |

Thanks for the input. Your all leaning the same way I am.
Unfortunatly, I can' t shoot either of the bows. I' m left handed, and absouletly no one around here carries left handed Hoyt' s. I have to order.... Speed isn' t a concern. With my 27" drawlenght, I can' t burn down th barn anyway[8D] I think I' m gonna go to the dealer tommorrow, and find out how long of a wait it' s gonna be to order one.;) Later.... |
