Copperjohn Deadnuts Sight/Alpine sof-loc quiver combo
 

I am going to use a copperjohn deadnuts sight on my mathews lx when it comes in. I want to use the alpine sof-loc 5 arrow quiver and was wondering if anyone has used this combo, and does it mount up solid? Does this sight have tapped holes for attaching a quiver bracket? I have heard of people having problems with rest clearance using this quiver and was wondering if this will be an issue? I usually use a rest that has a pretty thick mounting block on it and am just curious before I make the purchase.

The copperjohns sights are drilled and tapped for quivers.
As far as clearance for the rest, i think the only way to know is , too try yourself or find someone who has the same setup on a legacy or lx.
Since the lx is a new bow, that is almost impossible to know if it will work before getting the bow.
You might have to end up going with one of those 2 peice mathews quivers.

I use that combo on both of my bows and it works fine. i like how the alpine is low profile and sits close to my riser but if i have it in a low position then the lower part of the quiver interferes with my rest, keeping it from springing back up. Of course another reason i like the quiver is because i can so easily reposition it so it' s not a problem. don' t remeber if it does it on both bows or not. one is a Max 2000, the other is a 3d cyclone, so don' t know about your bow .

I use that exact combo on my Cybertec and it works great. The Copper John sights are drilled and tapped for quivers. You may have to use the spacers to push the quiver out farther to accomodate your rest though.

Do the spacers come with the quiver? Also, do you have to order different grippers for the arrows if you shoot carbon? Thanks for the replies and keep em' coming.

This is what I like about the copperjohn after doing some research on them. I like the copperjohn sights because they are easily adjusted for windage and elevation. They have big hex heads that you can tighten down snug and will not strip. They are of all aluminum construction and even the pin guard is aluminum. It has a hole tapped in the pin guard for mounting a light kit. The pins are very strong and birght and easy to pick up. The sight body is round and has a super bright orange tape around it and can be picked up easily in the peep and low light conditions. It is more reasonably priced than some of the other sights I have looked at. Hope this helps.
