which material for strings/cables?

I'm ordering a set of strings/cables from "gibblet" and need to know which material is best for my application. I hunt only and do no competition shooting. I need the material that would be best suited to the elements here in WI. I know I could just contact gibblet but I'm sure he's real busy so if I don't have to bug him, I don't want to. If John is here reading and has time to respond, all the better. The materials offered are:

BCY 8125, BCY 452x, Brownell x-cel

I have zero clue what's what and need your help before placing my order.

Thanks

We use BCY 452X and 8125 with 3-D and Halo servings!! As for the Conditions up there! Either will do!! 452 has no stretch but the 8125 does have stretch but will also gain you alittle speed!! I'm Talking only 5 to 10 FPS so not to much!!

Which is more abrasion resistant and will last longer?

What are the diameters of the two?

8125 will probably hold up longer but will creep more.

ok let me get this right...

8125 will probably last longer and at the same time will produce faster arrow speeds? If so then I'm sold.

Will it produce faster speeds than the standard hoyt string I have on there now?

As for the diameters of the String material.....I can't Really say becouse String material is basicly Flat!!

As Far as Abrasion Risistant, 452 will Fuzz up after awhile! so I would say the 8125 would be more restiant! But you'd Probably want to use the 452 on the Cables for the stability of the little to none stretch! and the 8125 on the string!!

452X for me stability is more important than a few fps.

most of the time i hear about 452x fuzzing up - its from folks not using a silicon basedwax, and/or applying their wax way to vigorously. a silicon based wax-
like bcy ml6 - should be applied gently, spread around gently, and then let it sit on there until your next shooting session.
