Default Bowtch cams

I went to a local shop today to order some smooth mods for my General.
The guy at the shop told me that the smooth mods make the let off 65%
instead of 80%let off. Is this true? I would think smooth would be easyer to
hold then the fast mods.

He is wrong as far as I know. With either smooth or fast mods you still have the ability to adjust your lef off with the draw stop peg. The modules shouldnt have anything to do with your let off.

That is incorrect information from your shop....Neither mod can change let off....The correctprocedureto adjust let offis to fine tune the draw stop peg located on your cam.

What is the procedure for setting the let off? Does the peg always have to make contact or is it a contact/no contact setting?

The draw stop should contact the cable on the General. The stop has a specific setting, dependant on draw length. It can be adjusted slightly from there to change let off.

I should have mentioned that I have an 82nd and the peg would hit the limb...I am reluctant to experiment with it cuz I don't want to hurt anything...

Thanks.

The stop on the 82nd worksin the same way, it just contacts the limb as opposed to the cable.
