Rip cord rest and fast bows??

I just picked up a second bow (Bear Code) and was thinking of putting a drop away rest on it since i've never used one. ( I currently used WB's). I see a lot of good reviews on this rest (Rip cord) that its easy to set up and tune, shoots nice groups ect... I have found a couple of reviews stating that some have had trouble on faster bows with clearance. Have any of you experienced this? I will be shooting this Code @ 69-70lbs with a @400-430gr arrow set up (@ 280-290fps). Will I have a problem with this?

Also, which would you choose... Rip cord or Trophy Taker Extreme Full Containment. That is what I have narrowed my choices down to..

Any Input would be appreciated...thnks

J i have a rip cord on my vulcan that is shooting my hunting arrows at 300 on the nose and have not had any issues with it. Imo todays rests if set up properly should all work fine.

We put them on Katera's shooting well into the 300's and it's not been an issue.

Had a good friend of mine that had one a new dreams season, shooting somewhere in the low 300s and hed did have a problem with it hitting. Never could get it tuned just right so he went with a different rest. On the other side though I have some good reviews on it. In the end I guess it would be a personal choice and what really works well for you and your set up. You should however check out the Limb Drive. Its really a great rest. Good luck.

I have had my Marquis hitting 318 with the Ripcord without any problems. IMO if you are making any contact, try pushing it forward, tight to the shelf. I have seen a X Force shooting in the 330's clear everytime.

I love the Ripcord, just don't ever take it apart. Somethings ya don't have to know how it works. LOL
