switchback xt string suppressor
Need some help I had my bow at a reputable pro shop and the tech said he liked to shoot his bow with "a little tiller". I assumed that ment one limb tightened more than the other. He sat mine that way I then noticed that my string would barely touch the supressor on the top and was pressing hard on the bottom. I adjusted the limbs to be equal. Still pressing more on the bottom. Is the strig supressor moveable what should I do. Thanks for the help.

RE: switchback xt string suppressor
The more you crank on the bolt in or out the more the tiller changes. Loosen it up more and that should reduce the pressure. You'll learn something but I don't think you'll do anything more than create a new problem.
Take it back to the "pro".[:@] |
RE: switchback xt string suppressor
What year is your bow? How new are the strings/cables?
My first thoughts: I would give it 500 to 1000 shots. If the string is ripping off chunks of the suppressor, then start making your adjustments. If not, keep shooting. |
