Am i overspined or am i ok?
 

My seput is a101st at 60lbs and a 29"dl with a 100 grain tip. I got some 340's easton epics the other day so am i overspined? I think the chart says 400's but i guess i looked at itwrong. They seem to be shooting ok tho. So thanks for any help.

I'd say you could shoot the 400's, but if the 340's are shooting fine and you have them. Just Git-R-Done!!

They are 29 1/2"

AA does not list the 101 so I used the 82nd.

Ran your numbers and it say's you are slightly weak.

I will pm the snap shot of the chart it is too big to upload here.

That's longer than I expected! I shoot a 27" arrow with a 28" draw.

Well, only one way to tell. Knock off those vanes off one or two. Go out at 30 yards, and shoot the bare and the fleteched, and see where they hit.

I would suspect you are overspined with the 340's. Try a bare shaft - see ifit hits the target angle left.

Thats what the guy at the bow shop recommended so thats what i got.

You can cut the shaft from the back but you will have to re-fletch them.

I'd say if you cut them down you will definitely be gettin toostiff. I'm sure you want to use them since you have them.;)Like others have said, there is one way to tell for sure:D

On Target shows you to be overspined by .038 but if you could go to 125 grain points it would put you at the very top edge of the green. You never did say but I put in the specs that you had the speed mods on the 101st. Here is a pic .

Hmmmm. Me and Ausie Guy pm'd back and forth and he said i was ok. Idon't want to switch to a 125 grain bh b/c i want to shoot rages.Well they are shooting fine so i think i am going to stick with them.
