Yep I think he was trying to say under spined! Ausi has or is inprogress of building me some archery ammo and the FOC is up around 19-20%! He knows what he's doing so I'm trusting him...if they wobble like a fat woman at a buffet I'll cry and just blame it on my poor shooting.:DI can already prepare to adjust my sights since I'm shooting stock 340's and some 400 spine with 100 gr field points, but I'm still learning and hoping to select BH's for hunting soon.

Ausie-guy is correct that the 5575's are underspined . Also adding 25 grains to your point does change your FOC quite significantly actually ,2.3% more . Here is what OT2 showed and this was just with the 100 grain points so the 125's made the spine even worse Here is a pic

He's not way underspined. He's only one block off.

That said I'd go with the 100's. You'll be fine.
Those charts are only a ball park figure and IMHO they are totallymissleading.

I had a gentleman pm me yesterday about his set up 70lb, 27.5" draw and 27" arrow (5575),when I ran his numbers the spine was weak.

I suggest that if the chart say's you need a 5575 (400 spine) arrow go to the next stiffest.

This is one of the reason most people have trouble tuning their bows.

Couldn't agree more Aussie. Especially if you are shooting a drop-away. What I have found a drop-away rest prefers a stiff spined arrow.

Why don't the arrow companies include a disclaimer in their charts?

Thanks for the PM help AussieGuy!

This is the only place anybody refers to a sizing program, you go to most bow shops they scan through a chart and sell what they have in a box,if it wasn't for pictures they couldn't sell anything! Here you get practical advice and multiple opinions to help guide you!
