Bodoodle Rest Zapper 400

TFOX and I were talking about rest over the weekend. He describe to me what a perfect containment rest should be. TFOX this is one I have ordered to try. It's by Bodoodle, it's called the Zapper.

I think this is what you were thinking....

Shouldn't you have ordered a lefty rest LOL ;):D

I'd be interested in hearing how tough or flimsy those metal strips are.

They're not that flimsy. They are very similar to a launcher blade.

Granted there not "extremely" tough...but they won't just fall apart when the wind blows on them.

That's good. It my be something to look into if I were to use a 3 fletch hunting arrow sometime. It doesn't look like your arrow could go between them like it seems on the hostage.

Yes I ordered a lefty:D

Bruce that is it, I think the arrow will slip through, and with a little moleskin eliminate noise also. One does not have to worry about hostage pro brushes wearing down also.

Germ.

I dont think your going to have any problems with the rest.

I have a Bodoodle Game Dropper on my Marquis and a Bodoodle Pro Lite on one of my target bows.

A little Dr Scholls on the fins will quiten it right down.

IMO,if a full containment rest is what you want,it should be built like this one.

You could get some teflon cable slide tape to put on those prongs,I have used it for rest and I have had friends use it on Bodoodle's in the past and the stuff works great. It won't wear out like moleskin.

Heat shrink also works Germ, on the prongs that is.....[8D]

I have used both the bodoodle and the tiger tuff versions of these rests bothare top notch- Arrow flight was not an issue - the only thing I could say bad about them if you used longer fletching it would extend out into the prongs - One of the two designs had the option to purchase teflon arms -they were all white and extremely quiet - I still have 1 or 2 of each at the house -

I have been using the spring loaded bodoodles with just two fins, love the rest and the idea about the moleskin works awesome, I can get about a year out of the moleskin before needing to be replaced and they are quiet as you can get. Good luck
