Stabilizer

How much does your stabilizer matter? The one I have is an el-cheapo that was given to me asa while back. I was wondering if I needed a better one? I know that is a pretty vague question since none of you have seen my setup...
I guess I'm just asking if a more expensive one would benefit me. What sort of things should I be able to notice with/without a stabilizer??

One more question...

I would also like to hear opinions on release aids...

The more expensive stabilizers do a better job of absorbing recoil and vibration. How much difference? You really would need to shoot them side by side on your bow to tell how much difference. Releases? Carter or Scott!

Haven't used a stablizer since I got my Mathews Switchback 3 years ago and see no difference in 3D scores or hunting. I do have a full drawer of stablizers from mercury, to flexable, long and short.

I have used (2) simular T.R.U. Ball releases I got 12 years ago one camo and one black.... They have served me well, so I have not tried any others.....

the sims s-coil is a great stabilizer, that really helped my bow, for a very cheap cost

I have a stabilizer that probley nobody has heard of, its a Kyber shock, and it is a dream to shoot.

I shot a few on my new DXT, result...I shot better without one and it just aded weight. I have always shot with one but now it's not necissary. I did however try a simms and liked what it did after the shot so that's what I'll be using. Try before you buy...the best rule in archery!
