Riddle me this draw length

27.5 and a loop is perfect, it feels great.

My CR337 at 28'' seems to be shooter. My arrow is almost to the rest on my cardiac, but on my CR337 I have 1'' over hanging.

Anyone know why? Weird[&:]

YOu know

1 has an 7 3/4 Bh and they other 7'' BH is that it?

I think so. I was looking at both pictures and the front of the riser is shallower on the CR337 (at least to my eye). That and the 3/4" difference in brace height would probably be the reason why the arrow looks so much different at full draw depending on bow.

That was my first thought when I read the first post - Brace Height

Damn I am going to need longer arrows[:@]

I'm not sure either, but I know a 30" DL on one bow may be different on another. My Vectrix Plus is a 30" draw, and it's perfect. BUT, we have a couple Cardiacs in the shop ( [:@]) and a 30 is too long. A 29 1/2 is perfect. Don't ask me, I don't know.

The brace shouldn't make a difference but it is possble that the specs on 1 bow could be off or the mounting hole could be different. In relation to where you grip the bow.

Is it the same rest?

Maybe where the rest is mounted on the bow? DL isn't measured from the string to the rest is it?

RE: Riddle me this draw length

DL is measured from the nock to the curve in the grip +1.75" at full draw. This is why I can't figure out how 2 different bows that are have 30" DL could be different. It's not rocket science. Do bow manufacturers hire 6 yr olds to measure?

Different rest, but I measured from the "end" of the bow shelf.

Ditto, the BH should have nothing to do w/ drawlength. I was thinking more about grips on each, and if maybe some tweaking of strings might make them a little closer.

Try measuring from the berger hole to tip of arrow on both bows. I'd be interested in what the differenceis beyond the DL difference between the 2 bows. If the shelves are 2 different length and the riser is shaped diffrently the arrow will be further or closer to the rest w/ 2 different bows.

A friend has a 1" shorter DL than me but we use the same arrow due to rest position and I believe my arrow sticks out further forward in relation to the berger hole on my bow than his does on his due to the narrower riser.

This is really irrelevant, think about it this way.The brace will change that measurement but a higher brace is basically just predrawing the bow a little but not adding any powerstroke,it is taking away powerstroke.

I looked at a picture of the cardiac and it has 2 mounting holes if memory serves. The back hole looks to be inline with the deepest point of the grip, how about the other bow?
