I put wax everywhere I can I am not sure if this is correct but it seems to make things last longer. I also use some serving saver stuff on the servings its like a glue protector coat for the servings can't remeber what its called I will look in the morning.

Me, too. Wax won't hurt servings at all, and should help protect them. Don't go too heavy to the point that you gum up your cams or anything, but a light wax won't hurt them a bit.

The only thing I was afraid of was the string jumping off the cam. Woudl that be an issue with wax the serving?
