Which PSE bow is this?
Looking at a used bow tomorrow. Seller says it's a PSE Nova, looks like a PSE Deer Hunter to me based on the cams / grip.
This bow's a few years old; did PSE sell the Deer Hunter under the Nova name at some point? |
RE: Which PSE bow is this?
I'd like to see a couple more pics, maybe a close up. It almost looks like a PSE Laser.

RE: Which PSE bow is this?
I'd like some more pictures too :)
From the ad: ...It has a 29" draw length, 65 max pounds and a string length of 32". |
RE: Which PSE bow is this?
i thought that the deer hunters only went up to 55#. thats what it was when i had mine a couple years back

RE: Which PSE bow is this?
According to website, now comes in 40, 55, 65# draw now.
http://www.pse-archery.com/prod.php?k=60753&u=0401S3# I'm wondering if the bow was sold as the Nova a few years ago, and now sold under the Deer Hunter model...? |
RE: Which PSE bow is this?
im not sure. the limbs on it look a little too paralell to me to be a deer hunter. im not positive though, havent pulled the old bow out in a while.

RE: Which PSE bow is this?
My first thought was a Nova but I don't remember the Nova with that wheel/cabling combo. I wouldn't give very much for it whatever it is.
|
RE: Which PSE bow is this?
It's a nova of some sort. Could be a deer hunter, team fitzgerald or a plane-ole nova.
|
RE: Which PSE bow is this?
I have a Nova 60-70# also that I have not used in awhile, looks like same grip, and same cams...other than that, would need better pics.

RE: Which PSE bow is this?
It's probably an earlier Nova. It has round wheels (probably plastic) and steel cables with teardrops for string attachment. One thing. It wouldn't cost a lot for a new string if it needs one. LOL.
Very entry level bow, even when new. I've seen them new for about $169. |
