ontarget anyone?

I just ordered some gold tip 5575 camo shafts (.400 spine), 8.6 GPI, +- .006 straightness.

Arrows are gonna have 50 grain tips and be shot at 65 lbs.

What arrow length should I strive for? I have a 30" draw length, but can safely shoot a 28.5" arrow (i'd like to know so I have a good idea where to start when I start bare shaft tuning.)

If anyone could help me out, I'd appreciate. I tried to download the trial version of it and I could get it to work on Vista :-(.

If it matters, it's a 2004 Parker Ultra Lite 31 (single cam) bow.

Thanks!

How short you can go on the arrow depends on your rest. I have a 30" draw andshot 27.5" arrows from my bow with a QAD and could have gone shorter.

If you really want the program to be accurate you need to chrono an arrow and adjust the IBO to get the calcualted velocity the same as the actual.

I was asking in regards to spine.

I wanted to know how long the shaft would need to be to give me the ideal spine for the given parameters.

I got the program to work now so it's all good.

As for chronoing, I didn't chrono, @ 65#, DL 30", 375 grn. arrow, I was shooting 280 (with only a peep and d loop on the string) with a new winners choice string on) and the IBO is 310.DIdn't sound right at first, but after thinking about it doesn't sound like it's close to where it should be.
